Business flights
You travel almost every week throughout Europe and you usually fly on a shipping service which imperceptibly causes a certain loss of time and chronic stress accompanying you (for free). Therefore you’ld often prefer the car as the “door to door” travel time with an airline, a transition and a rental car included, often lasts up to 7 hours … What if you could turn that into two hours?
Many managers have actually become travelers. And the “total cost of ownerhsip” of such a regular business trip is often much higher than you’d think, especially when it involves traveling with several people. Think of tickets, the trip to the airport, long term parking, the car rental destination, hotel accommodation, meals and especially the precious time of you and your employees. The problem is that all these costs are in separate budgets and never shown together so that the total costs are never visible to managers and entrepreneurs. What if we tell you that the total cost of ownership of a business trip with an airliner or a private flight together actually don’t escape each other that much, especially when it involves traveling with several people?
What exactly is your added value to your company per hour? This interesting question can be answered in two ways: By counting back your salary and all other costs per workplace to an hourly rate or by examining how much revenue and profit, basically the overall value, you add per year to your business …..

Conclusion
Yes, but that’s not the way I calculate it, we hear you thinking! Of course, it is much less clear when the aforementioned bills go through the administration and remain hidden in separate annual budgets … But that doesn’t make the expenses less real! Also, the claim that the budgetary costs continue monthly anyway is irrelevant. After all, the variable cost per car km, your accommodation and your precious time are real out-of-pocket expenses. You could also use this time to visit another business relationship or perform other activities that add value to your business and dramatically increase your productivity.
Finally, we point out that you have more time available for the home front. Also not unimportant …
Also, using this way of travel, you’ll leave an indelible (first) impression on your clients, something that is priceless in the business traffic.
And what about going by car?
You think it’s all very time-consuming and expensive and therefore you decided to just take the car, that’s just fine right? The car will cost you for example 1800 Km * 0.4 = euros 720, -. Hotel, tolls and meals for you and your colleagues 400, -. You are two days on the road so you lose 2 times 12 hours @ 75, – = 1800 -.
The total cost is 2920 – for a net labor input of 2 times 2 hours during the meeting.
